Function and Mechanism Investigation of SnoRNA U50 as a Tumor Suppressor Gene in Prostate and Breast Cancers

Aims of Project:

To test whether U50 can inhibit tumorigenesis and how U50 functions mechanistically as a tumor suppressor gene.
To elucidate the mechanism underlying snoRNA U50 tumor suppression.
To establish non-protein-coding snoRNAs as important elements in cancer.
