Research Interests:
Role of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) and its receptor (FGFR) in the development of cancers of the lung, head and neck, and potential role of FGF/FGFR in resistance to EGFR inhibitors.
Interest in clinical trial design to improve outcomes in cancers of the head, neck, and lung, as well as the incorporation of translational science and biomarkers into clinical trials and eventual clinical practice.
Interest in the roles of chemoprevention in tobacco-related cancers.
