SIRPα-mediated inflammatory regulation in cancer initiation and progression

Aims of Project:

To characterize DSS-induced chronic colitis and colitis-related carcinogenesis (CRC) in mice deficient of SIRPα or CD47, or with SIRPα ITIM-deletion
To study the effect of SIRPα and CD47 on the growth and metastases of implanted tumor in mice under inflammatory conditions
